Reconfigurable Test Shape RTS   2

Background
The Undersea Warfare Platforms & Payload Integration Department (Code 45) of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) serves as the Navy’s Technical Direction Agent (TDA) and In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) for submarine weapons launching systems. Code 45 is procuring hardware components for the Mk 48 Mod 7 Reconfigurable Test Shape (RTS) in support of testing requirements. The place of performance of this contract will be at the contractor’s site. NUWCDIVNPT Code 45 and Code 85 are the authorized users of this contract. Sponsors for this contract are PMS397, PMS450, and SUBPAC/SUBLANT. Types of funding include Shipbuilding and Conversion, Navy (SCN), National Sea-Based Deterrence Fund (NSBDF), Research, Development, Test & Evaluation, Navy (RDT&E), Other Procurement, Navy (OPN), and Operation & Maintenance, Navy (OM&N).

Work Details
The contractor shall manufacture, test, and deliver to NUWCDIVNPT sets of RTS hardware components according to applicable documents identified in Section 3.0. The specifications and standards associated with the build-to-print hardware are contained in the drawings and technical documentation provided in Section 3.1 Applicable Documents.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for specific items ranges from 6 to 16 months after Delivery Order issuance.

Place of Performance
The place of performance of this contract will be at the contractor’s site.
