Description

Title: Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information pertaining to a contemplated new procurement to acquire contractor support services to assist with Reasonable Accommodations (RA) Services.

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT

The purpose of the attached DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) is to procure the services of entities who can provide services that assist with Reasonable Accommodations (RA) Services. The Contractor's RA Support will play a critical role in supporting the Agency's reasonable accommodations program, its disability program managers, and accommodations case managers in reviewing reasonable accommodations requests; evaluating disability documentation, including medical information; and drafting decision letters recommending approval of the request, alternative accommodation, denial of the request, or indicating that additional information is required. Services will be performed remotely off-site.

The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of the Senior Procurement Executive, is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to seek industry comments and identify potential Contractors capable of performing the work described herein.

This notice is not a Solicitation and it does not seek the submission of formal binding quotation/proposal. In the event that DOT determines that these services will be procured, a formal Request for Proposal will be issued. DOT cannot and will not reimburse any organization for its time, effort, or costs expended in responding to this Sources Sought Notice. Your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal.

The NAICS code for this effort is 541612 (Human Resources Consulting Services).

The anticipated period of performance proposed is five years inclusive of a one (1) year base period and four (4) one year option periods.

RESPONSES TO THIS RFI

After reviewing the DRAFT SOW, interested parties shall submit the following in response to this RFI:

  • Provide Feedback and questions on the Statement of Work.
  • Provide list of labor categories to accomplish the work; and
  • List of current or previous performances within the last three years in RA accommodation.

FORMAT AND PAGE LIMIT

Responses to this RFI shall not exceed 10 pages, excluding any attachments. There is no formal question and answer period for this RFI and no questions will be entertained before the due date, however, feel free to submit questions and comments as part of your submission.

Interested companies should e-mail their responses to this RFI to Abdul.Latifi@dot.gov with a copy to Robin.Golden@dot.gov by April 3, 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time.

Background
The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of the Senior Procurement Executive, is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to seek industry comments and identify potential Contractors capable of performing contractor support services related to Reasonable Accommodations (RA) for Agency personnel.
