The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCAD) intends to enter into a sole-source firm-fixed price IDIQ with the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) of Ottawa K1A OS6, Canada to produce RAST Sweep-Up Spares. In accordance with international trade agreements, the CCC will subcontract 100% of the work to Curtiss-Wright Indal Technologies, Inc. (INDAL) of Mississauga, ON, L5C 2V8, Canada. The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 336413.

INDAL has designed and developed the Sweep-Up Spares and is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this synopsis in writing that contains information that may be used by the Government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
