Ranger Building Upgrades, Cape Cod Canal, Bourne, MA   2

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a solicitation for upgrades to the Ranger Building located at Cape Cod Canal in Bourne, MA. The mission of the Corps is to provide vital public engineering services in peace and war to strengthen the nation's security, energize the economy, and reduce risks from disasters. The goal of this contract is to enhance the HVAC systems and overall functionality of the Ranger Office Building.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:

1. Replace three (3) Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems with new custom sheet metal fabricated ductwork connected to existing ductwork.

2. Clean existing ductwork.

3. Replace two (2) roof exhaust fans and two (2) roof air intake louvers.

4. Remove existing insulation and replace it with fiberglass batt insulation in the attic.

5. Install new interior condensate drain lines connected to an existing sewer line.

6. Replace two (2) garage doors with specified dimensions and features including insulation and windows.

All work includes necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and transportation.

Period of Performance
The contract work shall be completed within 270 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Cape Cod Canal Rangers Office Building located at 40 Academy Drive, Buzzards Bay, MA.
