Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
The solicitation for RANGE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SUPPORT shows a confirmed incumbent, with Ahntech awarded contract N4008521D0011 (12/04/20–12/03/26) valued at $2,641,653 to provide recurring general repairs to keep live fire ranges and training areas usable. The prior scope closely matches the current requirement—carpentry, welding, masonry, electrical, painting, heavy equipment operations, mechanical maintenance, refurbishing props, and repairs/fabrication of gates, barriers, fencing, signs/barricades, plus maintenance of range structures such as berms/firing positions and bunkers/retaining walls—indicating the work is a continuation of the same range sustainment effort. Additional confirmed option/task awards to Ahntech in 2024–2025 for seeding/vegetation and rappel tower repairs further align with the same maintenance and repair categories.
