Background
This contract is issued by the Directorate of Contracting at Kunsan Air Base, with the goal of providing railroad maintenance and repair services. The agency aims to ensure the operational readiness and safety of railroad infrastructure on the base, which is critical for transportation and logistics.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to railroad maintenance and repair, including but not limited to:

1. Vegetation Removal
2. Removing foreign objects on the flange way
3. Removing obstacles on railroad spurs
4. Snow removal
5. Reinforcing ballast
6. Replacing ties with fastening devices
7. Replacing joint ties with fastening devices
8. Replacing insulated joint ties with fastening devices
9. Replacing wooden ties
10. Replacing grounding systems
11. Replacing road crossings
12. Installing railroad crossing signs/markings
13. Installing curve/distance/slack/cant signs
14. Track alignment
15. Replacing fastening devices
16. Replacing turnout signs and switches
17. Greasing turnouts.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Kunsan Air Base.
