Background
The justification and approval document is for a sole source acquisition of the Raider Intruder (RA) Advanced Ram-Air Parachute System (ARAPS) and Specialized Equipment in support of the Special Warfare Training Wing, HQ AETC Air Force Recruiting Service (AFRS), Special Warfare Branch, JBSA, TX. The contract is being issued by 338 ESS/PKC, located at 2021 First Street West, JBSA-Randolph, TX 78150-4302.

Work Details
The required supplies/services include the Raider/Intruder system, custom logo, radio pocket, O2 pocket, Cypress, assembly and packing. The ARAPS is identified as the only authorized parachute system for Special Forces Military Free-Fall (MFF) Operations and military parachuting operations by Army Regulation ATP 3-18.11 and the AF Personnel Parachute Program (PPP) Authorized for Use List (AUL). The contract will be a firm fixed price contract and price analysis will be conducted IAW 15.403(b).
