Description

This is a non-personal service for a Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Data Entry / Front Desk Clerk supporting the Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) on RAF Mildenhall, UK.

The contractor will perform the following duties but not limited to receiving telephone calls, greeting visitors, ascertaining the nature of the call or visit, directing clients to the appropriate program manager in the M&FRC, scheduling clients for M&FRC appointments and classes, and providing complete and clear information that addresses most routine or procedural issues. The contractor shall provide administrative assistance for the congressionally mandated TAP at the M&FRC, RAF Mildenhall, UK. The contractor will provide basic information on the TAP process to separating service members and their families. The Contractor will refer customers to the TAP program manager for questions beyond the scope of the basic TAP process. The contractor will be responsible for tracking the TAP services of separating service members; as well as updating internal records and maintaining data in the Air Force Family Integrated Results Statistical Tracking (AFFIRST) system for service members and their families. The contractor will be provided training on utilizing AFFIRST data management system as it is unique to the M&FRC and can only be accessed with a CAC

Background
The contract is issued by the 100th Force Support Squadron to provide non-personal services for a Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Data Entry / Front Desk Clerk at the Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) on RAF Mildenhall, UK.

The goal of the contract is to support separating service members and their families by providing administrative assistance and information regarding the TAP process.

Work Details
The contractor will perform various duties including:
- Receiving telephone calls
- Greeting visitors
- Determining the nature of calls or visits
- Directing clients to appropriate program managers
- Scheduling appointments and classes for clients at M&FRC
- Providing clear information on routine or procedural issues.

Additionally, the contractor will track TAP services for separating service members, update internal records, and maintain data in the Air Force Family Integrated Results Statistical Tracking (AFFIRST) system. Training on using the AFFIRST data management system will be provided as it is specific to M&FRC and requires a Common Access Card (CAC) for access.
