Radome Purchase and Installation-1SP BDE Mihail Kogălniceanu Air Base (MKAB), Romania   3

Background
The solicitation is for the purchase and installation of three radomes to enclose and protect three trailer-mounted satellite antenna systems from weather and dust. The radomes will be delivered to Fort Carson, CO, and then shipped to a forward location in Romania by the government. The exact location in Romania will be disclosed after the award. The contractor will be responsible for the installation at the specified location in Romania.

Work Details
The contract includes the purchase of three suitable sized COTS radomes with RF transparent material, installed with riser wall, personnel and trailer access vestibule, fall arrest points, and APEX maintenance point. Additionally, the contractor is required to provide labor, materials, parts, supplies, components, equipment, transportation, travel, supervision, and management necessary to install the radomes for the 1st Space Brigade located at a Romania (exact location TBD upon Govt acceptance at Fort Carson). The contractor is also required to provide a basic installation plan that addresses installation of equipment at the forward location (Romania) and quality control check IAW Statement of Work dated 5 Dec 23.

Period of Performance
The delivery date for the radomes to Fort Carson is 30-AUG-2024. The delivery date for installation services is 31-DEC-2024.

Place of Performance
The radomes will be delivered to Fort Carson, CO and then shipped via government transportation to an OCONUS location in Romania (exact location TBD).
