Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to acquire a Radiology CD Burner for the Harry S Truman VA Medical Center - Multi-Specialty CBOC in Rolla, Missouri. The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is to conduct market research and identify potential qualified businesses capable of fulfilling this requirement. The goal is to outfit the new facility and provide necessary services for the VA.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of 1 unit of a Radiology CD Burner with the following specifications:
- Fully integrated disc publishing system with robotic disc handling mechanism, integrated disc recorder(s), and integrated inkjet or thermal disc printer.
- Compact, desktop form factor suitable for office and medical environments.
- Enclosed system to minimize dust contamination and operational noise.
- Minimum input capacity of 150 discs and output capacity sufficient for batch processing without frequent user intervention.
- Capable of simultaneous disc recording and printing operations.
- Must support media formats: CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, Blu-ray (BD-R).
- Must support industry-standard disc sizes (12 cm).
- Integrated direct-to-disc printing technology with a minimum print resolution of 4800 dpi (inkjet) or equivalent thermal quality.
- Full-color, edge-to-edge disc printing capability with the ability to print custom graphics, labels, and barcodes.
- High-speed optical drives capable of writing CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs with support for multiple simultaneous recording drives (minimum of 2 drives).
- Error verification capability after disc writing.
- Included software for operation.
