Description

Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland, has awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Mnemonics, Inc. (MNI), Melbourne, Florida, to procure Radio Frequency Blanking Units (RFBUs) production and retrofit requirements in support of F/A-18E/F and EA-18G airframe change modification kits. This effort was procured under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(a)(1) and implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and developer of the RFBU, only MNI has the manufacturing knowledge, experience, facilities, and technical data required to fulfill this requirement in the time required.
