attached solicitation and four (4) additional solicitation attachments for a total of five (5) documents.

Background
The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific is issuing a contract for the production of radiation sensors under the RADIAC project, which aims to counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) through deployable solutions in various environments. The project supports DoD and National WMD radiological/nuclear detection efforts.

Work Details
The contract involves the production of radiation sensors including Modular Vehicle Detector (MVD), Alpha-Beta Monitor (ABM), and Spectral Radiation Monitor (SRM). These sensors detect ionizing radiation and are used in CWMD missions. The contractor will produce sensors with components like scintillation detectors, photo-multiplier tubes, signal processing electronics, and communications electronics enclosed in custom machined housings.

Initial Sensor Production requires about twenty units for assessment, followed by Production Runs and Process/Product Improvement phases.

Period of Performance
Specified in individual orders, with initial delivery expected between 14-Oct-2024 to 13-Oct-2029.

Place of Performance
Production will occur at the contractor's facility located within 50 miles of NIWC Pacific, San Diego, CA.
