Race Timing Systems

This RFI is for market research purposes only. Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement.

The NC-PFO Acquisition Support Division is seeking commercial sources with the ability to provide Jaguar Timing Systems or the like to the NC ARNG.

General Description of Material:

CLIN 0001:Jaguar platinum 4-1500 Race Timing System or Equal, Qty: 1 Ea.
CLIN 0002: Jaguar Power Pack or Equal, Qty: 1 Ea.
CLIN 0003: Global Truss Tower or Equal, Qty: 1 Ea.
CLIN 0004: Jaguar Snap Shot camera and cable or Equal, Qty: 2 Ea.
CLIN 0005: Generic Flag Race Bibs w/KF Chips or Equal, Qty: 2250 Ea.
CLIN 0006: Jaguar Race Clock Mod 4H6S54R or Equal, Qty: 1 Ea.

Salient Characteristics:
-Non Mat or ramp based timing system
-Redundant backups in case of system failure
-Accurate timing (+/- 300ths sec) with 500+ participants
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code anticipated is 339920, SPORTING AND ATHLETIC GOODS MANUFACTURING. The applicable Small Business size standard is 500 employees. In accordance with FAR 19.502-2, Total Small Business Set-Asides, the Government anticipates this acquisition will be set-aside for small business concerns and that the acquisition will be conducted under FAR 6.2, Full and Open Competition After Exclusion of Sources.

Interested parties are requested to address the questions in the Market Research Questionnaire. Respondents are also encouraged to submit information regarding commercial practices that the Government should consider implementing for this acquisition.
