Description

Additional work for HRN 2701 beyond the scope or cost of original work package. New twin turbochargers and exhaust system needed per the original vendors findings. Schooner Creek Boat Works is the vendor completing the original work package.
Background
The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine & Aviation Operations (OMAO), Marine Operation Center (MOC), Small Boats Division, is issuing this solicitation for the repair of turbo and exhaust assemblies on the RA-2 small boat, HRN 2701. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness and maintenance of NOAA's marine vessels, specifically the NOAA Ship Rainier, located in Portland, OR. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside for YANMAR authorized dealers/servicers.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for repairs to the turbo and exhaust assemblies on the RA-2 small boat HRN 2701. The work includes:

1. Base Year Repairs (CLIN 0001) - Complete necessary repairs to the turbo and exhaust systems as identified by the original vendor Schooner Creek Boat Works.

2. Growth Repairs (CLIN 0002) - Additional repairs as needed beyond the initial scope. The contractor must provide proof of being an authorized YANMAR dealer/servicer with their quote.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is estimated to begin upon contract award and will be subject to funding approval processes. If there are delays in awarding the contract, a shortened base year may be utilized or an updated quote may be requested.
