FY25: Network Engineer Support Services   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for Network Engineer Support Services to enhance the technological infrastructure of the Orlando Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (OVAHCS). The OVAHCS aims to provide high-quality care in a safe environment by focusing on continuous process improvement.

The facility, located at Lake Nona, is one of the largest within the VA and includes advanced technology for training medical personnel.

Work Details
The contractor will provide non-personal services as a Network Engineer III, responsible for various tasks including: maintaining a thorough understanding of internet basics, designing and configuring Local Area Networks (LAN), leading multi-server environment designs, supporting new remote site introductions, maintaining Industrial Control Networks (ICN), troubleshooting network issues, overseeing configurations and installations, managing IP space related to ICN devices, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

The contractor must also develop project plans for migrations, manage enterprise network architecture, and provide support for various systems including CCTV and Access Control Systems. Key personnel must have at least ten years of experience in IT infrastructure installation and maintenance.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of performance from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026, with four additional option periods extending through August 31, 2030.

Place of Performance
The majority of work will be performed at the Orlando VA Medical Center located at 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827. Occasional travel to affiliate locations may be required.
