Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Armored Car Services to support Veterans Affairs Medical Centers throughout the New England region. The goal of this contract is to ensure secure transportation of cash and coin for the Canteen Services at various VA facilities, enhancing operational efficiency and security.

Work Details
The contractor will provide armored car services including:
- Regular pickups and deliveries of cash and coin from specified VA Medical Centers in New England, including locations in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
- Emergency pickup services as needed upon request.
- Adherence to specific schedules for each location as outlined in the Statement of Work.
- Compliance with security protocols including check-ins with VA Police and maintaining a direct route during pickups and deliveries.
- Provision of all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools, and transportation for service delivery.
- Maintenance of detailed logs for pickups and deliveries along with signed receipts as proof of secure transactions.
- Liability coverage for loss or damage during transport up to $150,000.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from August 10, 2025 to August 9, 2026, with options for four additional one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various VA Medical Centers throughout New England including locations in Togus (ME), White River Junction (VT), Bedford (MA), Boston (MA), Manchester (NH), Northampton (MA), Providence (RI), and Newington & West Haven (CT).
