Description The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Office of Research and Development (R&D), Regional Procurement Office (RPO) East in Pittsburgh, PA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with R&A Movers. The requirement is for the procurement of Movement of supplies from Tucson AZ. To Boston VA Healthcare system. The requirement is for the contractor to provide and ship these items (all components that make up this system) to the Boston VA Healthcare System in Boston MA. This procurement is being conducted IAW FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. This is because the Government asserts that R&A Movers, with GSA contract 47QSMA20D08Q3 is the only contractor that can provide this specific requirement needed by the R&D Laboratory at Boston VA Healthcare System. Specifically, the characteristics of the R&A Movers that are unique are as follows: Movement of Equipment- Urgent movement of equipment from Tucson AZ to the Boston VA Healthcare System in Boston MA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement and supporting documentation to the Contracting Officer no later than Tuesday, 3/21/2023, (12:00 PM, CST).
