Relocation Service Contract

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a contractor to provide relocation and reconfiguration services for the Atlanta VA Medical Center (VAMC) and its associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).
The goal of this contract is to facilitate the efficient movement and installation of furniture, equipment, and other property within the VA healthcare system, ensuring that all services are performed in compliance with VA standards and regulations.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide workload services including receiving, delivery, installation services for furniture, equipment, and other property of the Atlanta VA Health Care System (AVAHCS) and CBOC leased space. This includes:
1. Disassembling, reassembling, repairing, and removing existing furnishings from various locations.
2. Transporting items to new locations and installing them according to facility plans.
3. Providing a clean receiving facility that is temperature and humidity controlled.
4. Using proper equipment for transportation such as closed moving vans, rubber-wheeled dollies, motorized pallet jacks, etc.
5. Ensuring safety during the move by protecting VAMC property from damage.
6. Responding promptly to requests for transportation within 24-72 hours.
7. Providing manpower for all phases of work with adequate crew sizes.
8. Maintaining an up-to-date inventory of furnishings deemed excess for the VAMC Interior Design staff in Excel format.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of performance from January 13, 2026, to January 12, 2027, with four one-year option periods extending through January 12, 2031.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be within a 50-mile radius of the Atlanta VA Medical Center located at 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA.
