Document Destruction Services- For VBA Cleveland RO   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking document destruction services for the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Cleveland Regional Office. The contractor will be responsible for providing biweekly scheduled onsite service during normal working hours, shredding materials, and disposing of shredded materials in compliance with regulations and directives.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor and equipment required to properly shred materials, including carbon, folders, and other non-paper materials. They shall also be responsible for disposing of all shredded materials in the estimated amount of 144 (96 gallon) bins per year. The contractor shall provide secure containers (bins) to collect and store materials to be shredded until such time that shredding of the materials occurs.
The contract is a firm fixed-priced, Task Order and was designated at 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The period of performance includes a base year and four consecutive option years.

Period of Performance
The contract period includes a base period from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, with four additional option periods extending through March 31, 2029.

Place of Performance
The document destruction services will be performed at the Veterans Benefits Administration Cleveland Regional Office located at 1240 East Ninth Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44199.
