Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, through its Network Contracting Office 19, is seeking services for the Montana VA Health Care System to ensure the timely destruction of classified and personal identifiable information. This supports the VA mission by safeguarding sensitive information.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide document destruction services, including shredding, pulverization, disintegration, purging, pulping, and incineration in compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Services must be performed weekly from Monday to Thursday mornings and include unscheduled services as needed. The contractor must collect and dispose of sensitive materials according to 36 CFR 1225 and VA Directive 6371.

Shredding services are required at multiple VA locations in Montana including Butte, Billings, Bozeman, Cut Bank, Fort Harrison, Glasgow, Glendive, Great Falls, Hamilton, Havre, Helena, Kalispell, Lewistown, Miles City, Missoula, and Plentywood. The contractor must be NAID certified and provide high-speed mobile shredding trucks with cameras for on-site shredding. All work must adhere to privacy and security regulations such as HIPAA and NIST SP 800-88.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024.
