Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for Transcription Services to support the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMR VAMC).

The mission of the RMR VAMC includes conducting rigorous research and evaluation studies involving interviews with Veterans, their families, caregivers, and providers. The goal of this contract is to provide timely and accurate transcription services that facilitate the analysis and reporting of research findings.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide transcription services as follows:
1. Transcribe audio recordings of varying quality into verbatim text/word files.
2. Expertise in medical terminology is required.
3. Transcriptions must be completed within one week of receiving audio files, with urgent requests completed within 48 hours.
4. Format specifications include labeling speakers as Interviewer (I) and Participant (P), removing verbal fillers, and including headers/footers with file names and page numbers.
5. All transcriptions must be proofread thoroughly to ensure accuracy; any errors must be corrected at no additional cost within 48 hours of notification.
6. The contractor must maintain a dedicated account manager for communication with VA staff and ensure compliance with contract provisions.
7. All work must be performed in the United States, adhering to security and privacy regulations, including HIPAA compliance.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from September 24, 2024, to September 23, 2029.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center located in Denver, Colorado.
