RFP Services For CBOC Courier Services (5YR BPA 10/1/22 - 9/30/27)   4

Background
This is a Request For Proposal for The Togus VAMC/CBOC's Courier Service. The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) intends to award a fixed price BPA with EPA, with a five (5) Year POP: 10/1/2022 thru 9/30/2027, with yearly funded Task Orders. The contractor shall provide all necessary personnel, supervision, labor, equipment, materials and disposal necessary to provide these Courier Services pursuant to the PWS described herein.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, transportation, fuel and tolls necessary to perform courier services to and from Togus, Maine VAMC located at 1 VA Center Augusta, Maine 04330 to the Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC’s) throughout the state of Maine. The Contractor shall pick up and deliver items such as laboratory specimens, laboratory transport containers, equipment, mail tote bags, general supplies, and laundry on a regular basis. The contractor shall comply with all protocols and requirements of each drop-off/pick-up location in response to current and future pandemics.

Period of Performance
The BPA expires on 09-30-2027 or such later ending date as determined by the exercise of any option.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations where the contract will be performed include Togus VAMC located at 1 VA Center Augusta, Maine 04330 and the Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC’s) throughout the state of Maine.
