Pathology and Laboratory Courier Services for Eastern Oklahoma VA Medical Center (Muskogee, OK) and surrounding VA Clinics.   4

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking to procure Pathology and Laboratory Courier Services for the Eastern Oklahoma VA Medical Center located in Muskogee, OK, as well as for several outlying VA Clinics.
The goal of this contract is to ensure timely and secure transportation of medical supplies and laboratory specimens between these facilities, thereby supporting the VA's mission to provide high-quality healthcare to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing courier services between the following locations:
1. Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center (JCMVAMC) and McAlester VA Clinic (MCVAC).
2. Ernest Childers VA Clinic (ECVAC) and Bartlesville VA Clinic (BVAC).
3. ECVAC and Claremore VA Clinic (CVAC).
4. ECVAC and JCMVAMC.

Tasks include:
- Regularly scheduled pickups and deliveries of sterile lab supplies, laboratory specimens (blood, urine, body fluids, biopsies), interoffice mail, basic clinical supplies, and equipment not exceeding 75 lbs.
- Adhering to a strict delivery schedule with specific pickup and delivery times for each route.
- Ensuring proper packaging for all items transported, maintaining cleanliness of the transport vehicle, and providing temperature-controlled transport for specimens.
- Maintaining a daily temperature log for specimens during transport.
- Complying with all relevant Department of Transportation and OSHA regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous materials.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be from December 1, 2024, through November 30, 2025, with four one-year options extending through November 30, 2029.

The services will be performed at various locations in Eastern Oklahoma including:
- Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center: 1011 Honor Heights Dr., Muskogee, OK 74401
