This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Networking Office 7 is looking to award a firm-fixed price contract and reimbursement will be on a per-delivery run basis. Contractor shall provide courier services for specimens/ pick-up and delivery for Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) at Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS). Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Networking Office 7 is seeking to award a firm-fixed price contract for courier services for the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) at Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS). This service is critical for the timely transportation of laboratory specimens and medical supplies, which are essential for quality patient care. The contract is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

Work Details
The contractor shall provide courier services including the pick-up and delivery of laboratory specimens and other medical supplies from various locations to CAVHCS. The specific locations include:
- Ft. Benning VA Clinic, Ft. Benning, GA
- Columbus Downtown VA Clinic, Columbus, GA
- Robert S. Poydasheff VA Clinic, Columbus, GA
- Lyster U.S. Army Health Clinic, Ft. Rucker, AL
- Dothan VA Health Clinic, Dothan, AL
- Monroeville VA Outpatient Clinic, Monroeville, AL
- Montgomery VA Clinic (MVAC), Montgomery, AL.

Deliveries will be made to either:
- CAVHCS Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service at 215 Perry Hill Road, Montgomery, AL or
- CAVHCS PLMS at 2400 Hospital Road, Tuskegee, AL.

The contractor must ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely manner to preserve the integrity of laboratory results. Daily courier services will include transportation of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, diagnostic specimens, patient charts, office supplies, mail, and other items as required. The contractor is responsible for securing items during transport and adhering to HIPAA regulations regarding protected health information.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will begin on May 1, 2025 and run through April 30, 2026 for the base year with options to extend through April 30 in subsequent years up to a total of five years.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations in Alabama and Georgia including Montgomery and Tuskegee in Alabama as well as clinics in Columbus and Ft. Benning in Georgia.
