Courier Services for Orlando VA Healthcare System   3

Background
The Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS) is seeking to procure courier services to facilitate the transportation of medical supplies, pharmacy items, laboratory specimens, and other essential materials between various VA and non-VA locations. The goal of this contract is to ensure timely and efficient delivery services that support the healthcare operations of the OVAHCS.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform Courier Services as defined in this Performance Work Statement. The scope includes:

- Daily delivery services between Lake Nona Medical Center and Lake Baldwin Campus with an estimated 1,560 trips per year.
- Daily delivery services between Orlando VAMC and Tavares CBOC with an estimated 520 trips per year.
- Pick up and drop off of medical supplies from various locations including:
- Orlando VA Medical Center at Lake Nona
- Lake Baldwin VAMC
- Tavares VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic
- Clermont VA CBOC
- Daytona Beach VA CBOC
- Deltona VA CBOC
- Palm Bay VA CBOC
- Viera VA Health Care Center
- Kissimmee VA CBOC
- James A Haley VAMC
- Non-VA locations include Florida Hospital Laboratory and Southlake Hospital among others.
- Emergency trips must be completed within specified time frames (e.g., mission-critical services within 60 minutes). The contractor is responsible for maintaining a quality control program to ensure compliance with service standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on May 1, 2026, and will continue through April 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations including Orlando VA Medical Center at Lake Nona, Lake Baldwin VAMC, Tavares CBOC, Clermont CBOC, Daytona Beach CBOC, Deltona CBOC, Palm Bay CBOC, Viera VA Health Care Center, Kissimmee CBOC, James A Haley VAMC and several non-VA hospitals in the Orlando area.
