Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 19, is seeking to procure courier services for the Sheridan VA Health Care System. This contract aims to support the VA's mission by ensuring efficient transportation of medical facility items between the Sheridan VA Medical Center and various Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in Wyoming. Work Details
The contractor will provide regularly scheduled pickups and deliveries of various items including packaged lab specimens, medical equipment, mail, and clean/soiled linen between the Sheridan VA Medical Center and CBOCs. 1. Transporting specimen containers marked 'DIAGNOSTIC SPECIMENS' and ensuring they are handled according to IATA regulations.

3. Handling paper documents in sealed confidential envelopes secured in locked mail bags.
4. Managing soiled and clean laundry items appropriately.
5. Ensuring biological specimens are properly packaged for transport.
