SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for courier service at the VA Illiana Health Care System in Danville, IL. The courier service will transport sterile and non-sterile medical supplies, office supplies, and medical and non-medical equipment, to include durable medical equipment (DME), which may require a specialized vehicle to accommodate size and weight during transport. Place(s) of Performance, as follows: Danville Illiana VA Medical Center (Main Campus) 1900 E Main Street Danville, IL 61832 Peoria Community Based Outpatient Clinic (Peoria CBOC) 7717 N Orange Prairie Road Peoria, IL 61615 Bloomington Community Based Outpatient Clinic (Bloomington CBOC) 207 E Hamilton Road Bloomington, IL 61704 Springfield Community Based Outpatient Clinic (Springfield CBOC) 5850 S 6th Street Road Springfield, IL 62703 Mattoon Community Based Outpatient Clinic (Mattoon CBOC) 501 Lake Land Blvd. Mattoon, IL 61938 Decatur Community Based Outpatient Clinic (Decatur CBOC) 796 Sunnyside Road Decatur, IL 62522 Peoria Vet Center 5015 W American Prairie Drive Peoria, IL 61615 Springfield Vet Center 2041 Timberbrook Drive Springfield, IL 62702 Champaign Primary Care Clinic (CBOC to open June 1, 2026) Champaign, Il, The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 492210 Local Messengers and Local Delivery industry. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Requirements: Experience: Provide evidence of a minimum of three (3) years experience providing courier services. Documentation of this experience shall include evidence of current or previous contracts (contract numbers) that collectively appear to be of similar size and scope and shall include business references. The evidence must be recent (within the last 5 years) and relevant (for similar services). If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address if applicable, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort and documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. The Government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES, SOLE SOURCED OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 10:00 AM Local (Central) Time on February 12, 2026.
