DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this action is to award a sole-source bridge contract for VA Claims Processing and Customer Service.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Procurement, Acquisition and Logistics Strategic Acquisition Center is awarding a sole-source bridge contract to Signature Choice, LLC for VA Claims Processing and Customer Services to prevent a lapse in critical services for the Veterans Health Administration Office of Integrated Veteran Care.

Work Details
The contract involves processing healthcare claims for medical services performed by community-based providers, adjudicating claims for Veterans and family members, operating a customer service call center for billing and eligibility inquiries, and maintaining a 24/7 call center for emergent care notifications.

The contractor will provide information regarding eligibility and authorization of care, claims processing clarification, billing instructions to community providers, and manage complex IT functions impacting Veterans' access to healthcare.
