CONTRACTORS INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN THIS INDUSTRY DAY MUST RESPOND PER THIS NOTICE. This announcement is released by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Strategic Acquisition Center-Frederick (SAC-F) seeking contractors interested in providing services to the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Medical Disability Examination Office (MDEO). VA anticipates conducting a series of general MDEO Industry Days with the goal of promoting engagement and learning about industry ideas and capabilities related to the work tasked to MDEO. These events are to be general in nature, not in response to a specific MDEO requirement or upcoming contract action. VA anticipates other market research and/or industry days for specific new/recompete contract actions. The first Industry Day is anticipated for Spring 2026 with future industry days planned at VA s discretion. All MDEO Industry Days are being conducted for market research purposes only. See attached Industry Day Notice for full details.
Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Strategic Acquisition Center-Frederick (SAC-F) is seeking contractors interested in providing services to the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Medical Disability Examination Office (MDEO).

The VA aims to conduct a series of general MDEO Industry Days to promote engagement and learn about industry ideas and capabilities related to MDEO's tasks. These events are intended for market research purposes and are not in response to a specific requirement or contract action.

Work Details
The first Industry Day will be held virtually, anticipated for Spring 2026.

It will consist of individual capability meetings where contractors can present their specific ideas and capabilities directly to SAC-F and MDEO staff. Each meeting is expected to last 45 minutes and may include short demonstrations of products or solutions. The structure of the event will be determined at VA's discretion, and attendance may be limited. Contractors interested in attending must respond with a cover sheet including company details, type of business, GSA contract information, and a brief description of capabilities.
