Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Services for Cincinnati VAMC   3

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services for Cincinnati Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) in Ohio. The EAP is intended to provide resources to address work-related problems, traumatic incidents, substance abuse, mental illness, marital or family problems, and financial or other personal problems for employees and their family members. The contract will be performed on a firm-fixed price basis.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide EAP services for Cincinnati VAMC. The services include assessment, treatment planning, short-term counseling, financial counseling, traumatic incident management, social service assistance, information and referral, health education training, and short-term substance abuse counseling. The contractor must ensure that EAP counseling staff members have the required qualifications and be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through a toll-free EAP point of contact. Additionally, the contractor must provide introductory brochures, wallet cards, posters and supervisor manuals for distribution at contract initiation and annually thereafter as requested by the Agency.
