Amendment to Sources Sought to correct NAICS and PSC code 1 Year Headhunting for Clinical Staffing Gastroenterologist and Cardiologist

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. All information contained in this Sources Sought Announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted in response to this Sources Sought Announcement, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 621111, Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists), and the small business size standard is $16 Million. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) is performing market research to determine if there are any vendors, regardless of business size, that can provide headhunting for clinical positions. The VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) is currently short-staffed in the following positions: Gastroenterology and Cardiology. The contactor shall only provide headhunting for these positions. The contractor s role would be to find suitable candidates and payment would be made after a successful hire. The table below includes the current vacancy rate as well as the position title, FTE, location and supervisory level. Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 21) is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of providing headhunting services for clinical staffing in Gastroenterology and Cardiology.

The VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) is experiencing staffing shortages in these critical areas, which impacts service delivery and patient care. This Sources Sought Announcement is intended to gather information to inform the procurement strategy for addressing these staffing needs.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing headhunting services specifically for the following positions: 2 Gastroenterologists and 1 Cardiologist at the Sacramento VAMC (Mather).

The contractor's role includes identifying suitable candidates for these positions, with payment contingent upon successful hires. The contractor must ensure that candidates meet all necessary qualifications as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and VA policies during the recruitment process.
