- Providing emergency services upon request within a two-hour response window.
- Delivering detailed reports of results via email within ten business days after testing.

Contractors must also provide proof of asbestos certification if working in areas containing asbestos.

Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent based on contract 36C26221C0127 awarded to Technical Safety Services for $232,672 (06/01/21–11/30/26) for fume hood testing and certification. The current requirement similarly calls for semi-annual certification/testing of pharmacy hoods and related compounding areas (including fume hood/biological safety cabinet type testing elements such as airflow and particle sampling) at the same VA San Diego facility, which suggests the work is a continuation of the incumbent’s prior hood certification scope.
