Background
The U.S. Forest Service, part of the USDA, manages and protects 154 national forests and 20 grasslands across 43 states and Puerto Rico. The agency's mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the nation's forests and grasslands for present and future generations.

The Rocky Mountain Region (Region 2) includes 17 national forests and 7 national grasslands in Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas. This solicitation seeks to award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for road maintenance and related support services within these areas.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision, and ancillary services necessary for complete projects in compliance with the Scope of Work. Tasks may include:

- Roadway maintenance (regrading, reshaping)
- Drainage structure upgrades/repairs/replacements
- Roadside brushing/vegetative clearing
- Culvert maintenance/repair/removal/replacement
- Soil erosion control installation
- Maintenance of traffic control devices/signs/posters
- Cattleguard removal/replacement/maintenance/repair
- Aggregate surfacing/resurfacing of roads
- Application of dust palliative
- Work site reseeding
- Roadway obliteration
- Snow removal from roads and parking areas
- Chip sealing/surface treatments of existing roads.

The contractor must also ensure compliance with the Service Contract Labor Standards Act and manage any necessary permits or coordination with local officials.

Period of Performance
Base Period: January 31, 2025 - January 30, 2027; Option Year 1: January 31, 2027 - January 30, 2028; Option Year 2: January 31, 2028 - January 30, 2029; Option Year 3: January 31, 2029 - January 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
Various locations across Region 2 including national forests and grasslands in Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas.
