Description

Medical Expert Services for the Eastern Regions (1-4 and 6).
Background
The Social Security Administration (SSA) is issuing a solicitation for Medical Expert Services in the Eastern Regions. The goal is to support SSA's mission by providing expert medical opinions during hearings and appeals processes.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, materials, and services to perform tasks related to providing medical expert services. This includes conducting interrogatories, studies, and testimonies across specified regions as detailed in the Statement of Work. The contract will be firm-fixed price with indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity provisions, funded by task orders based on pricing tables.

Period of Performance
The contract period of performance includes a Base Period from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022, followed by Option Periods I through IV each lasting one year until June 30, 2026. There is also an Option to Extend Services for up to six months.
