Background
The contract titled 'Technical Support to Protect and Secure the Nation’s Drinking Water and Wastewater Infrastructure' aims to provide technical support to protect water infrastructure. The work involves providing up to TBD direct labor hours for the base period, including personnel such as engineers, scientists, draftsmen, technicians, statisticians, and programmers. The contract also includes provisions for task/delivery orders, acknowledgment of amendments, and limitation of funds notice.

Work Details
The Contractor shall perform all work and provide all required reports within the specified level of effort. Direct labor includes various personnel but excludes support personnel such as company management or data entry/word processing/accounting personnel. The level of effort includes non-support labor hours from the Contractor, subcontractor, and consultant. The contract also includes clauses for ordering supplies and services, estimated cost and fixed fee, quality assurance documentation submission requirements, preparation and delivery of reports, period of performance, electronic invoicing requirements, key personnel assignment and substitution process, non-personal services agreement with specific restrictions on Contractor personnel's roles and benefits.

Period of Performance
The ordering period of this contract is from the effective date of contract award through five (5) years following the effective date of contract award.
