Background
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking technical support for the National Aquatic Resource Surveys (NARS 3) to enhance its mission of protecting aquatic resources through comprehensive surveys and assessments.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide technical support for the National Aquatic Resource Surveys, including tasks such as pre-survey planning, field sampling, sampling logistics, laboratory analyses, and data analyses.

Specific responsibilities include training field crews, managing field staff, distributing supplies, tracking field activities and supplies, providing laboratory support, applying GIS analysis, developing biological indices, and reporting data visualization techniques.

The contractor must adhere to EPA's quality assurance requirements and submit a Quality Management Plan compliant with EPA QA/R-2 standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a five-year ordering period from the effective award date with an additional 24 months for completion of task orders issued during this period.
