Background
The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Golden Field Office, is seeking businesses that are interested in and capable of providing strategic partnership support for the DOE’s Better Buildings Initiative. The DOE’s Better Buildings Initiative is seeking services to support the broad effort as well as specific programs including the Better Climate Challenge, Better Buildings Alliance, Better Buildings Challenge, Better Buildings, Better Plants Program and Challenge, Better Buildings Residential efforts, and Better Buildings Accelerators. The Contractor shall support the DOE by providing technical expertise in energy efficiency technologies and greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction strategies as the DOE continues to grow, evolve, and improve the Better Buildings suite of programs.

Work Details
The contractor shall help with targeted support in key work areas: 1) account management and support, 2) data and analytics, 3) communications and outreach, 4) management and evaluation, and 5) partner support, implementation, and evaluation. The contractor shall promote successful strategies, support leaders as they innovate to overcome the barriers to greater efficiency and decarbonization and ensure the collection, analysis and use of sound data and other metrics. The contractor is responsible for ongoing evaluation and continual improvement of guidance resources to assist partners. Additionally, the objectives of this work also include research and analytical support to stay abreast of market (and sector) trends, understand (and address) real world barriers to greater sustainability and support innovation and field validation of new technologies/ideas/practices.
