SEWP Solicitation Asset Tracking System

The requirement is for asset tracking system for VISN 20. Like all health care facilities, VISN 20 faces numerous clinical and business challenges, including managing and tracking assets. Some VA assets are currently tracked with barcode stickers, but this solution is limited to identification capabilities. An asset awareness solution can address the complex issue of tracking assets by providing real time data on asset location. These capabilities can result in improvements such as the design of processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of patient care, reductions in staff hours spent searching for equipment, and the ability to maintain more efficient (less expensive) inventory levels.
