Background
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is issuing a contract for Science and Technical Support Services in the Mid-Continent Area. The USGS's mission is to provide reliable scientific information to describe and understand the Earth, minimize loss of life and property from natural disasters, manage water, biological, energy, and mineral resources, and enhance and protect our quality of life.

Work Details
The contractor will provide science and technical support services including administrative support, geospatial services, web design, computer programming services, research/science support services, modeling, subject matter expertise, facilities support services, and other related tasks as per the Statement of Work. Deliverables include monthly status reports for specific task orders if required within the task order.

The contractor must comply with quality assurance measures such as accuracy in presentation and technical content, clarity in work products, consistency with requirements, file editing capabilities, format adherence for hard copy submissions where applicable, and timeliness in submission.

Period of Performance
The contract term is five years from December 1, 2020 through November 30, 2025. It includes five project years: Year One (December 1, 2020 - November 30, 2021), Year Two (December 1, 2021 - November 30, 2022), Year Three (December 1, 2022 - November 30, 2023), Year Four (December 1, 2023 - November 30, 2024), Year Five (December 1, 2024 - November 30, 2025).

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at USGS Science Centers located within the Mid-Continent servicing area including:
- Madison WI
- National Wildlife Health Center
- Great Lakes Science Center
- Northern Prairie Wildlife Research Center
- Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Water Science Center
- Upper Midwest Environmental Science Center
- Upper Midwest Water Science Center
- Jamestown ND
- Middleton WI
- La Crosse WI.
