The goal of this contract is to procure a Vector Signal Generator and Radio Frequency (RF) Source from Rohde & Schwarz, which are deemed essential for meeting specific technical and mission requirements.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide a Vector Signal Generator capable of generating highly accurate, wide-band, digitally modulated RF signals such as 5G, LTE, and GNSS with low Error Vector Magnitude (EVM), low phase noise, and high output power for advanced Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E).

Key specifications include:
- Frequency Range: 8 kHz to 3 GHz
- Modulation Bandwidth: up to 1 GHz
- Output Power: up to +33 dBm
- Very low EVM: ~0.2% LTE
- Excellent ACPR: less than -72 dB
- Low phase noise: less than -134 dBc

The RF Source must deliver stable, low-noise RF signals across a frequency range of 1 MHz to 6 GHz and support various signal modes including CW, AM, FM, and optional PhiM or Pulse modulation. It should function as a local oscillator or interference source. The equipment must ensure seamless compatibility with existing systems at MITRE.

Bidders must demonstrate capability in providing the specific brand name products from Rohde & Schwarz (SMBV100B Vector Signal Generator and SGS100A SGMA RF Source) as only they meet the stringent technical requirements necessary for the TDN Lab's operations. No other vendors are considered capable of fulfilling these requirements.
