Request: Recompete of Chemical Screening, Review,   4

Background
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking proposals for the project titled 'Chemical Screening, Review, and/or Evaluation of New, Existing, and Safer Choice Chemical Substances.' This initiative aims to enhance the agency's ability to assess chemical substances and promote safer alternatives through its Safer Choice and Design for the Environment programs.

The contract will be awarded as an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling of $90 million.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing technical and program support to the Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics (OPPT). Key tasks include:
1. Preparing screening-level chemistry assessments for various chemical substances.
2. Conducting evaluations of chemicals under the Safer Choice and Design for the Environment programs.
3. Updating the Safer Chemical Ingredients List as necessary.
4. Delivering reports that include plans, evaluations, studies, analyses, and manuals in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Each report must cite the contract number and identify EPA as the sponsoring agency.

Period of Performance
The ordering period for this IDIQ contract is anticipated to commence on October 15, 2024, and end on October 14, 2029.

Place of Performance
Work will primarily be performed at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's facilities located at 26 West Martin Luther King Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45268.
