National Base Camp Support Services

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has a requirement for national base camp support services for 301 to 2,000 occupants inclusive of readiness exercises, mobilization, site preparation, installation, base camp management and operation and demobilization to support FEMA disaster responders and other authorized personnel and assets deployed to disaster-declared areas. The period of performance of this requirement will be five years from date of award. This procurement is being solicited on a full and open basis. The NAICS and small business size standard for this project are: 561210/$32.5 million. Contractor support is needed to provide rapid deployment, set-up and operation of complete, turn-key base camp on an as needed task order basis. The Government anticipates awarding multiple contracts for each of the geographic areas, which will be defined in the solicitation. The anticipated contract type is indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity with multiple contract awards for each geographic region. Hybrid task orders will be issued on both a firm fixed price and time and materials basis dependent upon CLIN. It is anticipated that solicitation will be issued on or around April 3, 2007.
