Interpreting Services - Syracuse VA Medical Center   2

This notice constitutes a combined synopsis and solicitation in accordance with FAR Part 15. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, New York 13210-2716, intends to award a firm, fixed price service contract to perform American Sign Language interpreter services on an as needed bases for various meetings, training, etc. for five (5) hearing impaired employees. Services to be provided include interpreting spoken English into signed English and American Sign Language (ASL), and interpreting ALS and signed English back into spoken English. The applicable NAICS code is 541930 and the size standard is $7.5 million. This is 100% set aside for small business. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to this web site. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial (FEB 2012), applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (FEB 2012) applies to this acquisition. All offers must include a completed copy of this provision. All offerors must be currently registered in SAM at website https://www.sam.gov/. The VA will not pay any costs incurred in preparation and submission of proposals. The solicitation package will be available on or about August 14, 2015.
