The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will issue a solicitation to provide short term and long term technical support and professional services to various overseas (international) offices in support of the CDC and the Presidential Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) partners. PEPFAR partners include, but are not limited to, all Department of Health and Human Services OP/DIVs (DHHS), Department of Defense (DOD), U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), U.S. Department of State, Peace Corps and the Department of Labor. Administrative and professional non-personal services will be ordered on an as-needed basis in support of CDC and PEPFAR programs. Skill requirements will include general administrative, professional (including medical) and technical positions. This procurement is full and open competition. The CDC will award a single Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) task order contract. This is a new requirement; therefore, there is not an incumbent contractor. The contract period of performance will be five (5) years from the date of award. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 541990. Request for Proposal (RFP), 2006-N-08234, will be posted on-line at www.fedbizopps.gov on or before October 5, 2005. The anticipated award date is February 2006. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available unless specifically requested in writing via e-mail to Charles Hayes at ckhayes@cdc.gov .
