Title: International Regulatory Assistance with Radioactive Sources and Uranium Recovery projects
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing a presolicitation notice for a requirement entitled, International Regulatory Assistance with Radioactive Sources and Uranium Recovery projects
The Contractor shall provide personnel with specific technical and scientific expertise, research,
and training applicable to nuclear safety and security regulations and oversight, including,
radioactive sources, materials, transport and waste in order to support NRC staff in providing
nuclear-related support to select countries, continents and regions of the world.
- Adopting and implementing the IAEA-sponsored Code of Conduct on the Safety and
Security of Radioactive Sources
- Developing and implementing nuclear safety and security regulations, licensing and
inspection programs for accountancy, control, and physical protection of nuclear materials
(including radioactive sources)
The period of performance will be a total of five years.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the services required is 541990 All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services. The small business size standard is annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not-to-exceed $19.5M.
Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 31310025R0018 will be posted on, or about, May 27, 2025 as a small business set aside competition under FAR Part 15. Closing date for receipt of proposals will be on, or about, 30 days thereafter.
RFP No. 31310025R0018 will be distributed solely through www.sam.gov.
All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through www.SAM.gov . Interested parties are responsible for monitoring www.SAM.gov to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
