Description

The objective is to procure a Glass Panel Simulator which includes P&ID graphics, panel graphics, classroom glass panel simulator hardware, an associated maintenance environment, and maintenance support for four different plant designs.
Background
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is soliciting offers for the procurement of Glass Panel Simulators to enhance technical training at their Technical Training Center in Chattanooga, TN. The NRC aims to modernize its simulator-based training resources to support essential missions such as operating reactor rulemaking, licensing, oversight, and incident response.

Work Details
The contractor will provide integrated and dynamic Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) graphics, control room panel graphics, classroom glass panel simulator hardware, software maintenance environment, and maintenance support.

Tasks include developing high-resolution P&ID graphics for Westinghouse, General Electric, Combustion Engineering, and Babcock & Wilcox simulators; providing double slice classroom glass panel simulators with instructor stations; conducting in-house and factory acceptance testing; delivering on-site training sessions; and supplying documentation and spare parts. Optional tasks involve additional technical support for custom graphics development.

Period of Performance
This contract shall commence on the effective date of award and will expire two years thereafter.
