Develop Public Service Announcements for Pesticide Laundry Safety and Pesticide   2

Background
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 7 is focused on public health and safety regarding pesticide use. The goal of this contract is to develop public service announcements (PSAs) that educate families about the risks associated with pesticide contaminated laundry and promote safe laundering practices.

Studies indicate that pesticide residues can remain in clothing even after multiple washes, posing health risks to individuals and their families. Therefore, outreach efforts are essential to inform farmworkers and pesticide users about proper laundering techniques to prevent residue transfer.

Work Details
The contractor will produce a total of 12 PSAs: 6 video PSAs (3 in English and 3 in Spanish) and 6 audio PSAs (3 in English and 3 in Spanish). Each PSA will focus on household pesticide laundry safety, emphasizing the importance of proper laundry practices to minimize health risks.

The contractor's tasks include:
1. Producing scripts and storyboards for video PSAs in both English and Spanish, detailing risks associated with pesticide contaminated laundry, recommended practices, and resources for informed pest management decisions.
2. Creating audio PSA scripts based on the approved video scripts.
3. Identifying voice talent for both video and audio PSAs, providing samples for EPA review.
4. Producing final audio and video PSAs that comply with Section 508 accessibility standards, delivering them via a mutually accessible digital platform such as Dropbox or Adobe Creative Cloud.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed primarily at the contractor's facilities but may involve collaboration with EPA Region 7 located in Lenexa, KS.
