Background
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is issuing a solicitation for Armed Contract Security Officer (ACSO) and Patrol Services for the Region 10 Manchester Environmental Laboratory. The mission of the EPA is to protect human health and the environment, and this contract aims to ensure safety and security at the laboratory facility located in Port Orchard, Washington.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide Armed Contract Security Officer (ACSO) services and patrol services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Key tasks include:
1. Providing armed security personnel to ensure safety at the Manchester Environmental Laboratory.
2. Conducting regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized access and ensure compliance with security protocols.
3. Monitoring access points and maintaining a visible security presence.
4. Responding to incidents or emergencies as they arise, following established protocols.
5. Ensuring all personnel are properly trained and licensed as required by state regulations.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2030, with options for additional periods extending through September 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the US Environmental Protection Agency Region 10 Manchester Laboratory located at 7411 Beach Drive East, Port Orchard, WA 98366.
