Background
The US Department of the Interior, Appraisal and Valuation Services Office, has a requirement for market valuation and appraisal report services for 5B & 35B, AVIS Project Number: J53-584-2023-00001, Agency Case 00215751. The solicitation is issued under the Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services and Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated award type is Total Small Business Set-Aside with Code: 531320; for Offices of Real Estate Appraisers.

Work Details
The appraisal reports will be used to establish the fair market value and rent for internal decision making and fiduciary trust responsibilities. The prospective date of value is April 1, 2024. The appraiser must conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and must hold a valid license as a Certified General Appraiser for the jurisdiction in which the subject properties are located. The appraiser must participate in a pre-work conference call with the review appraiser within five (5) days after being notified to proceed with the assignment.
The appraiser must inspect the subject property identified in this Statement of Work and the properties used in the direct comparison and income approaches to value. The target period of performance for the delivery of the initial appraisal reports will be negotiated between the AVSO review appraiser and the appraiser.

Period of Performance
The target period of performance is 100 calendar days from the date of the Purchase Order (PO) award.

The geographic location where the contract will be performed is Palm Springs, California.
