R-410A LEAK DETECTORS (Bldgs 750, 751 & 768)

Background
The contract is issued by the United States Air Force (USAF) for the installation of hard-wired refrigerant leak detection systems in dormitory buildings 750, 751, and 768 at Little Rock Air Force Base (LRAFB), Arkansas. The objective is to enhance safety by providing early detection of refrigerant leaks, which can pose a significant hazard to occupants. This initiative follows a previous incident in Building 750 that highlighted the potential dangers of refrigerant leaks in living quarters.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all qualified personnel, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, and services necessary for the installation of refrigerant leak detection systems in a total of 186 dormitory bedrooms across three buildings. The specific tasks include:
- Installation of refrigerant leak detection systems in:
- Building 750: 64 bedrooms
- Building 751: 72 bedrooms
- Building 768: 50 bedrooms
- Each building requires separate cost breakdowns for labor and materials.
- Compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS), UFC standards, and all applicable regulations is mandatory. The contractor must also manage waste disposal and recycling according to LRAFB policies.

Period of Performance
Work shall be accomplished within 90 days of equipment/material arrival.
